9 Months!!

Happy 9 months Andria!

I love how chunky she has become.

She is now doing the "army crawl" and is just starting to get into things.

She does not like peas and barely tolerates green beans.
She started eating finger foods recently and she likes to sneak goldfish away from her brother.

She has a special laugh for Jacob and she gets really excited when he comes near her.
What a happy girl she is!!

Six Months Old!

Andi is already six months old! She doesn't even look like the same tiny person that I met just six months ago. She even has a little roll on her thigh!! She is still a tiny chunky baby. Andi has started rolling over on the floor - she only rolls to the right though - it's so funny! She continues to pull funny faces and she loves silly sounds. Andi is a pretty happy girl and we love having her in our family.I finally finished her bedroom...I think. My mom painted a tree on the wall for Andi when she came to meet her right after she was born. I sewed a curtain and hung some girly things on the walls. In addition to the awesome hair bows that Elise made for Andi I have collected and made lots more. Little girls are so much fun! I have enjoyed making dresses for her and so have lots of our family members.

Tasty Toes

Andi has figured out how to get her sock off and get her toes into her mouth. She does it when she's on her back, in her bouncy seat, and sitting in her Bumbo seat. What a funny girl!

5 Months Old!

I can't believe Andria is already five months (plus a week) old. She is growing really well. She now weighs 12 lbs 10 oz and she is finally fitting into 3-6 month size clothes. She laughs a lot now and she smiles all the time.

She still doesn't like almost anyone that's not in her family. She will be smiling away and someone else will say hi to her - like at church or at the store - and she will just start bawling. For some reason some of those same people just keep asking to hold her (at church). I let them try but she always does the same thing and they end up giving her back. It's pretty funny. We'll see if she grows out of it, but I'm not counting on it anytime soon. Funny girl!!

Andria has recently started eating baby food. She has liked everything that we have fed her so far - she' s a good eater! She likes to put everything into her mouth and is pretty fascinated with watching us eat - she watches every forkful - so she eats when we eat.We decided to take a picture of Andria with an object that everyone knows how big it is - to show how tiny she actually is...got milk??Here are our cute kids in their Easter clothes. Cute girl!!

Happy (late) St. Patrick's Day!

Our family is Irish/Scottish so we celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Plus - it's just fun! Here is what Andi wore this past Sunday to church in celebration of this fun holiday. My friend made her this darling pillowcase dress and I made her a matching headband, clover hair bow, and leggings. She looks so cute!! It is so fun to make things for little girls!

Four Months Old!

Andria is already four months old! She is doing great. She is still so tiny, but she looks like a miniature chubby baby! She is filling out in her cheeks and her little legs. She now weighs 11 lbs and 6 oz and she is 23 inches long. She is in the 15th percentile for her weight and the 20th percentile for her height. She will most likely always be in the lower percentiles but she is perfectly healthy and happy. She laughs a lot now and she smiles all the time. She is especially smiley for her brother Jacob. They sit and laugh at each other and getting Andi to laugh is Jacob's favorite thing to do right now.Andi rolled over once a couple of nights ago from her belly to her back but she is refusing to do it again - haha! She holds her head up really well now and we are going to try feeding her baby food starting tomorrow. We're really excited about that!! I have had a lot of fun redecorating her room and making cute girlie things for her. Happy 4 months Andi Grace!

What a Little Doll!

My Aunt sews Heirloom dresses for all of her nieces and she sewed one for Andi Grace. The dress has a slip, dress, overcoat, and a bonnet. She hand sewed all of the little rosettes and all of the tiny details and she hand smocked it. What amazing talent! Andi wore this dress to church yesterday and I decided that she looks like an exquisite doll in it.

Strike a Pose

Tonight I was taking pictures of Andi and she started stretching and I caught her in the funniest pose! I started laughing and she started to laugh - but it came out as a couple of coughing sounds. I'm sure she'll get the hang of it soon. She is just the cutest little girl!

Smiley Girl

Jacob's favorite thing to do right now is to get Andi to smile. He is giddy when she smiles back at him! She is funny because she has been following our voices with her head and whenever Jacob is sitting there talking to him and he walks away she turns her head and watches him go for a while - like she misses him. Andi is wearing 0-3 month size clothes now so she has a whole new wardrobe to wear! I love this blue outfit because it really makes her big blue eyes stand out. This is a typical Andi face! She pulls the funniest faces - we are always giggling about them.

Adorable

Jacob is always saying how adorable Andi Grace is so I thought it was fitting that a friend of ours gave her a shirt that says "adorable". She is adorable! I love this cute profile picture of her.

Two Months Old!

Andi Grace turned two months old on the 27th and she had her two-month visit with the doctor today. I'm happy to report that she is growing!! She is now 9 lbs 2 oz and she is 21 inches long. She is in the 15th percentile, which makes me laugh because Jacob was always in the 40th until this year - now he's in the 60th%, but that' s just fine because she will probably always be a tiny little girl. We love her that way. :) Her doctor said that she is gaining well and he isn't worried about her being so small since she only weighed 5 lbs 11 oz at birth.

Andria has some reflux issues so her belly is sore a lot and she probably has some milk allergies, so we're sorting through that with different formula. Other than that she is happy most of the time and she is smiling a lot now. We love seeing her smile! Jacob likes to make funny faces at her to get her to smile at him and then he is overjoyed when she does smile. Jake and Andi are so cute together!

Andi's eyes are getting bluer and bluer all the time. She is such a beautiful little girl and we are truly blessed to have such a sweet little spirit in our home. She has really made our little family complete. We are overjoyed that Jacob loves his little sister so much! He tells everyone that she is his baby. We are looking forward to watching them grow up together. We just know that Jacob will always watch out for his little sister.
